Introduction
During this self-paced course, participants will identify different types of disabilities and will learn strategies, tools, and tips for responsively meeting the needs of different learners. Additionally, throughout this learning experience, educators will examine interviews with individuals with disabilities and will engage in disability simulations. By the end of this course, participants will understand why creating accessible content is crucial when fostering equitable learning environments.
Time Commitment
The time commitment will vary depending on accessibility background. Give yourself about one hour a day to work on this course. You should be able to complete this course in about four hours.
Prerequisites
This course is built to provide accessibility support for all levels. You do not need to have any background in accessibility.
